sobat recipe Sobat in saraiki and painda in pashto, is a very delicious recipe.It is cooked in various ways but a video I am going to share is one the very different and delicious one.
The history of sobat is very old.It was started from old Saraiki peoples for promoting integrity and brotherhood.Actually the style is such a different that a dish having recipe cannot be eaten by a single person.Minimum 4 persons can eat a single dish. Ingredients.......... 1.Very thin breads approximately 8 in numbers for single dish.

2.One kg chicken cut in large pieces,preferably for 4 persons serving. 3.Turmeric powder,only half tablespoon required. 4.Salt,only one tablespoon required. 5.Red chilli powder,one tablespoon required 6.Coriander powder,one tablespoon required 7.Garam masala,a mixture of spices available in local market of India and Pakistan 8.Tomatoes,one kg for gravy and making good texture and taste 9.Ginger,a single piece required for making paste. 10.Onions,one kg is required for gravy and making good texture. 11.Yogurt,one bowl. procedure Make thin slices of onion and brown on light flam with constant stirr to avoid burning.Use edible oil for browning of onions.Now add chicken and turmeric in the onion and cook the chicken with constant stirr,do not add enough water,only add a little water to avoid sticking with the bottom.Always use large container for cooking.Now take ginger,one tomato and one onion and blend,now put this mixture over cooked chicken and stirr deeply,Add salt,red chilli powder and cook.Take 8 tomatoes and blend and then put over mixture ,Cook till the mixture become uniform and oil start oozing out at the surface of gravy.At this stage remove the chicken and put in a separate container.Add 3 glass water in gravy,3 black cardamom,coriander and garam masala and cook the mixture till half of water evaporate and half retain.At this stage remove the mixture.Now take a separate wide container and spread thin pieces of bread.Fill the container with gravy til bread immersed and put chicken on top and serve.Topping with lemon juice along with chopped cucumber,tomatoes and onion give an extra taste and good presentation.
