how does weight loss affect blood sugar

how does weight loss affect blood sugar

It is a concept that type 2 diabetes is chronic progressive disease but actually it is a reversible disease and directly link with weight of a person and with reducing the weight ,it became reversible. The people consider the disease as life long. They made a concept in their minds that they have to live on their entire life ,first on medication and then on insulin actually the cause of disease is quite different. This disease progress by insulin resistance in body. This insulin resistance develop actually due to more amount of insulin in body. All medications just reduce the sugars from  the blood but the root cause remain same which is insulin resistance. So all those people that say that they control their diabetes by reducing weight, cutting carbs and by physical activity or exercise, are right. They actually reduce their insulin level and thus body in turn gave them the response of insulin sensitivity.By reducing their weight ,progressive declining in their symptoms is developed. It is most important to highlight that this is not the case of type 1 diabetes, where there is no insulin in body and patient must have to take insulin from outside source. The sudden weight loss in type 1 diabetes is due to insufficient or no insulin those patient of type 2 diabetes ,whose on medication or insulin ,the sugar level descend for some time and they also got some symptomatic relief but in the long run they should have to control their weight  to avoid insulin resistance in future.Patient with type 2 diabetes should have clear understanding for their confirmation of type 2 diabetes.

The main parameter is weight. If their weight is more than their      BMI ,then it is a strong signal. They also have to monitor their weight if  more with severe symptoms. After confirmation they should cut the carbs, exercise and do any physical activity for weight loss.

why is it hard for diabetics to lose weight

They should also monitor their diet and adapt some ketogenic diet chart with the help of a diabetologist .Fasting is more effective tool for weight loss, where body burns its own fats for energy and weight is reduced.

obesity and diabetes risk

obesity and diabetes risk                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                             Obesity can lead to type 2 diabetes. In this case body produce enough insulin but the call got resistance against insulin.Insulin is a key for absorption  of glucose inside the cell.If body got type 2 diabetes ,insulin key cannot open the lock of cell for glucose absorption.Obesity create stress inside the cell.Endoplasmic reticulum of the cell is responsible for processing the nutrients absorbed by the cell.In case of obesity cell absorb more nutrients.Hence endoplasmic reticulum has to work more than it's normal range. Thus it produce an alarming signal to brain to lock insulin receptors at the surface of cell. This produce insulin resistance.Pancreas produces more insulin but cell cannot get it.Thus obesity has direct relation with type 2 diabetes.

When we consume more calories than required by body ,extra calories stored as body fats on adipose tissues. When these tissues burn fats to release energy than fatty acids, hormones and proinflammatory cytokines are produced.obesity releases more fatty acids, hormones and proinflammatory cytokines. The increase release of proinflammatory cytokines  leads to chronic low grade inflammation.Chronic low grade inflammation interferes with normal signalling pathway of insulin reception of cell and produce insulin resistance. But the good news is also here. By just reducing obesity upto 10% with physical activity and stress over body, insulin resistance can be reverse.
